Alexandre Bilger graduated from cole Polytechnique and the cole des Mines.

He started his career as an architect then Technical Director. He started as an architect at NAT System, a leading publisher of client server development tools. In 1998, Alexandre co-founded and was CTO of E-Front, a data-processing software publisher specializing in the Financial industries.

Fabrice is leading the management team of Sinequa as the COO (Directeur Gnral). Prior to joining Sinequa, Fabrice was heading Active Circle as President & CEO, where he deployed a strategy focused on storage and archiving for large volume of media and scientific data, which led to the acquisition of the company by Oodrive end of 2014. Before this, he held the COO position at Atempo, a provider of data protection and archiving solutions, where he headed worldwide operations, from R&D to Sales. Successively based in France and in Palo Alto, Fabrice was a key player in the transformation of Atempo from a regional backup software vendor to a global Data Management company. Fabrice holds an MBA from HEC Paris and is a graduate of CNAM (Conservatoire National des Arts et Mtiers).

As VP of Sales & Alliances, Xavier Pornain is responsible for developing business strategy, growing the Sinequa customer base and opening new markets to support the company's global expansion. Since joining Sinequa as a Sales Manager in 2007, he has contributed greatly to the success of the organization, from outstanding personal revenue generation to the cultivation of an energetic, solid international team of sales executives.

Prior to joining Sinequa, Xavier garnered over 10 years of sales management experience in the enterprise software industry, including several leadership positions at IBM.

As Vice President, Sales EMEA, Stphane Kirchacker is responsible for driving sales and expanding channels to accelerate Sinequa's growth in EMEA, capitalizing on the rising demand for the cognitive search and analytics that enable organizations to have greater insight into their diverse data platforms.

With 20 years of sales, project management and business development experience gained in the U.S and Europe, Kirchacker joins Sinequa from ASG Software Solutions where he was Senior Vice President, Business Development Infrastructure Software. While at ASG Software Solutions, he was responsible for accelerating worldwide growth of infrastructure products through an innovative approach to sales and go-to-market strategy. Prior to ASG Software Solutions, Kirchacker was Vice President Sales Worldwide for Active Circle (acquired by Oodrive) and the Managing Director, Northern/Southern Europe for Atempo. Kirchacker holds an executive MBA from ESCP Europe as well as a Master degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Paris 6.

Olivier Gaunet, CTO of Sinequa
Olivier Gaunet

Olivier Gaunet has served as Chief Technical Officer of Sinequa since 2009. As CTO, he is responsible for the functional development of the Sinequa Engine and of Sinequa's NLP indexing chain.

Olivier first joined Sinequa in 1998 as a software engineer and participated in the early development of the Sinequa Engine. He then led the development of several other Sinequa components and eventually drove the complete redesign of the Engine in 2007. Olivier is graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications and holds a Master of Artificial Intelligence from University Paris 6.

Before joining Sinequa in 1997 as a DGA (French Army) trainee in project management, Luc conducted three years of research in Combinatorics at the L'École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales. He collaborated in the development and production of the first prototype of Sinequa Search Engine. Luc also serviced as Scientific Director before becoming VP Global Operations in 2009, as which he oversees the Presales, Professional Services, Customer Support and Training departments.

Luc holds a Master of Theoretical Mathematics and Master II of Theoretical Computer Science.

Cyril de Maleprade has nearly 30 years of experience in financial management, both in the financial services industry and in corporate finance departments. Cyril joined Sinequa in 2007 and oversees the company's financial, accounting and administration activities. Before Sinequa, Cyril held senior financial positions at French oil company Elf Aquitaine, electronic device manufacturer EGP and financial services company PBA and served in corporate finance at CDC Markets and CPR Equities. Cyril is a graduate of the EDHEC Business School and the CFAF Financial Analysts with a Master of Management & Information Systems.

As VP of Marketing, Laurent Fanichet is responsible for driving the overall marketing strategy for the company including field and product marketing, marketing communications as well as brand awareness. Laurent Fanichet brings over 20 years of marketing experience in the software industry where he has worked in a variety of roles, in both Europe and Silicon Valley, Calif. These roles include deep specialization in the areas of product marketing, field marketing/communications, and business development. Most recently, Laurent Fanichet was a Senior Product Manager at Quantum Corporation, a leading provider of big data management solutions. Prior to Quantum, Laurent served as Director of Marketing at Atempo (Acquired by ASG Software Solutions), an independent software vendor for data protection and digital archiving. He started his career at ILOG (acquired by IBM) and Borland.

Charles Rozmaryn, Chairman

Engineering graduate of the École Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications (ENST), Charles Rozmaryn served as Chief Operating Officer of France Télécom from 1991 to 1995. Following the deregulation of the French fixed line telecommunications sector, he served as Chief Executive Officer of the second largest fixed line telecom operator in France (Telecom Developpement, later Cegetel) from 1997 until 2004. Charles started his career at the R&D laboratories of the Centre National d'Etudes des Télécoms (CNET) where he contributed to the development of digital technologies. He was advisor to the French Minister of Education from 1979 to 1981 for the introduction of new technologies in the French education system. In 1996, he was author of a major report to the French government on the digitalization of the French Healthcare System. Charles is currently a member of several Boards of Directors and a private consultant.

Stéphane Allez

Stéphane Allez is general manager and founding partner of Invoke SA, a software company dedicated to financial reporting. Since 2005 he has been involved in the management and the promotion of technological innovation for the company. He is a founding member of XBRL France and a board member of EDIFICAS (an association for the IT of the French Association of Chartered Accountants).

He began his career in 1982 at the IT services company OCTOPUS that launched the first PC-based accounting solution. He was senior designer of the software packages LF-OCTOPUS (tax form) and 123/x (Lotus 123 connection).

From 1982 to 1997, Stéphane has created numerous innovative software packages. He has worked successively for Sybelles Nastar and Nat Systems. He joined INVOKE in 1997 to lead the development of the Toscane suite of Accounting and Financial software, used by more than 5000 users, including prestigious groups like L'Oreal, SNCF, La Caisse des Dépots et Consignations, Groupe Accor, Crédit Agricole, etc.

Stéphane Allez received his secondary education at Le Havre and holds a degree of the University of Rouen.

Philippe Laval

Philippe is CEO and founder of Kwaga, a startup developing a semantic assistant for email users. Kwaga offers a web service helping individuals effectively manage their mail inbox by using powerful semantic and best-of-breed open-source technologies. Before that, Philippe was the founding CEO of Sinequa and co-inventor of Intuition (now Sinequa Search Engine).

Philippe has a PhD in computational linguistics and is a graduate from TelecomParisTech.

Nicolas Rose

Nicolas, a Partner of XAnge, invests in Software and Internet startups. Prior to XAnge, he started his career as a software developer in financial simulation, he then developed sector expertise in the financing and valuation of high-tech companies for JP Morgan and as a financial analyst specialized in Information Technology IPOs with Hambrecht & Quist. Nicolas joined Paris-based Venture Capital firm XAnge in 2004. He has invested successfully in ABAXIA (Sold to HTC), (Sold to Leroy Merlin), Dynadmic, Nexway, Neolane (Sold to Adobe), Prestashop, RunMyProcess (Sold to Fujitsu), Sinequa and Vision Objects. Nicolas holds a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Michigan (USA) and an MBA from the Ecole des Ponts et Chausses (France).

Thomas Starkloff

Thomas Starkloff has a Doctorate in theoretical physics (SM, MIT and Dr. rer. Nat. University of Marburg, Germany) and holds an MBA from the French business school INSEAD. Formerly a partner at KPMG Peat Marwick, Thomas is currently an Associate at X-PM Transition Management and an Associate at Aurinvest. He also leads the Specialized Masters course for Information Systems and Strategy at the Management School for Europe (ESCP-EAP).

Mark Williams

With a proven track record for growing software organizations, Williams is a seasoned IT industry veteran who brings along a wealth of expertise in Finance and General Management. He is currently co-founder and CFO of Seal Software Group. Prior to that, Williams held a CEO position at Hubwoo, and CFO positions with IBS, Atempo, Sherwood International, and Converge Inc. Williams has a degree in Electronic Engineering from London South Bank University and earned his ACA, Chartered Accountancy from Robson Rhodes Chartered Accountants.
