Sinequa | Connect to knowledge

June 23, 2008 - Sinequa announces the availability of 5 new connectors

Sinequa announces the availability of five new connectors for IBM WebSphere, IntelligenceMaker, Salesforce.com, Jalios et Oracle Universal Content Management (Stellent). With the enrichment of the number of sources accessed natively, Sinequa strengthens its position as a leader among enterprises, with a growing catalogue of more than 30 available connectors.

The connection to proprietary enterprise applications is ensured by specific connectors, developed and maintained by Sinequa, whose preparation requires only a few days through a standard development kit. This enables companies to expand access to their business applications within only a few hours of configuration by source.

With the steady increase in new connectors, Sinequa improves access to corporate knowledge. Sinequa connects to all sources of information in the company, respecting the exisiting security mechanisms for access control within applications via their "turnkey" connectors. The implementation requires no specific development, this approach allows Sinequa to deploy the solution quickly, securely and non-intrusive.

"The ability to rapidly expand access to knowledge to any new source in a secure manner, is a very complex problem in which Sinequa heavily invests," said Alexandre Bilger, Deputy Director-General and architect of Sinequa. "It provides three key benefits to Sinequa's customers: a complete response provided to users of the engine (which means greater quality of responses), the capacity for the CIO to ensure a secure and rapid deployment without impacting the administration of applications in place, and a competitive operating cost."
