Jean FERRÉ, PDG / CEO

Jean Ferré, a graduate of the École Polytechnique and former PhD Student in Industrial Economics from the École des Mines and Université of Dauphine, began his career as consultant at Mac Group and AT Kearney. He then worked as a business developer in Argentina and USA for the American leader cable system operator TCI. From 1997 to 2002 he was co-founder and CEO of the software company Arisem – now a subsidiary of Thales. In 2002, he joined BPI, the European leader in human resources consulting, where he coordinated its external growth in the USA, UK and Europe, and served as the BPI Group Financial Director before becoming the Managing Director of BPI GmbH. Along with Alexandre Bilger, he initiated a LBO on Sinequa in 2004 and Jean Ferré has been Sinequa’s CEO ever since.

Alexandre Bilger, CTO
A graduate of the École Polytechnique and of the École des Mines, Alexandre Bilger began his career in an information technology laboratory in the United States. He then worked for five years as an architect at Nat System, a publisher of client server development tools. From 1998 to 2005, he was the co-founder and technical director of E-Front, a data-processing software publisher specializing in the development of E-business solutions.

Philippe Laval, COO, International Development
Philippe Laval graduated valedictorian from Télécom Paris and is a doctor in fundamental and theoretical computer science (majoring in linguistics). He has been a research engineer, a project manager, and the scientific director of Cora. He is the inventor of Sinequa Engine. In 1995, Philippe Laval took over the position of director of operations at Cora, becoming president of the company in 1997, a few years before it became Sinequa. He is now responsible for the international development of Sinequa.

Colin Hadden, Country Manager UK
Colin Hadden (44), Country Manager Colin Hadden joins the Sinequa Team as the Country Manager for the UK, with the responsibility of leading the company's profile and revenue growth within the United Kingdom and Ireland. Colin Hadden will take responsibly for all direct and indirect commercial aspects of the UK business. A graduate of Lancaster University with a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science, Colin has spent his entire career in the field of enterprise software. Initially working on the technical side if the business, in early 90’s Colin moved into sales with Applied Communications Inc. working in a number of UK and international markets, including a two year secondment to South Africa to set-up a new subsidiary. In 1999, Colin was co-founder of payments start-up Viapay.com and in 2001 joined iManage to drive new business in the UK Finance Sector, with notable successes in the City at the Bank of England and xChanging Insurance Services. In 2003 iManage was aquired by Interwoven Inc., where Colin was promoted to Sales Director for Europe primarily focusing on the Finance Sector. Colin comes to Sinequa from Software AG where as General Manager – New Business Sales, he was responsible for a number of landmark deals in UK Central Government including HMRC and the Home Office.
