    September 24, 2007 - Sinequa announces the opening of its subsidiary in London


    Paris, London - September 24th, 07 - In accordance with development plans and following the raising of 4 million Euros from X-Ange and Aurinvest, Sinequa announces today the creation of its first subsidiary, Sinequa Ltd, based in London.

    UK and Ireland operations will be conducted by the newly recruited team: Colin Hadden, as Country Manager and Tim Bell as Technical Architect.

    Colin Hadden (44), Country Manager
    Colin Hadden joins the Sinequa Team as the Country Manager for the UK, with the responsibility of leading the company's profile and revenue growth within the United Kingdom and Ireland. Colin Hadden will take responsibly for all direct and indirect commercial aspects of the UK business.

    A graduate of Lancaster University with a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science, Colin has spent his entire career in the field of enterprise software. Initially working on the technical side if the business, in early 90’s Colin moved into sales with Applied Communications Inc. working in a number of UK and international markets, including a two year secondment to South Africa to set-up a new subsidiary.

    In 1999, Colin was co-founder of payments start-up Viapay.com and in 2001 joined iManage to drive new business in the UK Finance Sector, with notable successes in the City at the Bank of England and xChanging Insurance Services. In 2003 iManage was aquired by Interwoven Inc., where Colin was promoted to Sales Director for Europe primarily focusing on the Finance Sector. Colin comes to Sinequa from Software AG where as General Manager – New Business Sales, he was responsible for a number of landmark deals in UK Central Government including HMRC and the Home Office.

    Tim Bell (44), Technical Architect
    Tim Bell, with over 20 years of experience in the software development industry, is responsible for all technical aspects of Sinequa’s UK operation. After graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Computing Science from Imperial College of Science and Technology, Tim began his career at a London-based software consultancy. Tim then worked in the field of Interactive Video and optical storage, where he contributed to several award-winning programmes.

    In 1990 he moved to Paris where he worked as a senior developer/architect for Nat Systems, a publisher of enterprise client-server development tools. During his time at Nat Systems he worked for their client, Microsoft, on the Visual C product range.

    In 1998 he co-founded eFront, a software publisher specialising in the development of e-business solutions. At eFront he worked as an software architect and was also a director of the UK subsidiary.
