At Sinequa, we continue to improve our algorithms in order to increase performance. By leveraging BERT (Language Model), we use Deep Learning techniques to better understand the content. Applying machine learning and specifically deep learning to enhance the platform’s capabilities continues to be a focus. We brought several deep learning capabilities to the platform, including content classification and enrichment and dynamic improvement of relevancy over time. Successfully packaging AI into a product requires strong foundations, and in 2020 Sinequa laid the groundwork that is expected to bring several exciting enhancements driven by deep learning in 2021.
Your role and responsibilities:
Sinequa is growing and we are looking for a talented Machine Learning Engineer located in Paris, whose main mission will be to contribute to the evolution and maintenance of the ML features powering the Sinequa Enterprise Search platform. You will work on putting cutting edge algorithms/technologies into production to enhance the search experience. Features range from Transformer-based textual classification to Query Intent and of course, deep learning ranking algorithms. You will collaborate with platform engineering to integrate state-of-the-art algorithms and model research into the Sinequa product and take full ownership of ML models, including collecting training data, deploying in production, and overseeing the quality.
- At least 3 years of experience in the Machine Learning field.
- High proficiency in an OOP setting like C#, Java, C++, etc.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Good all-around algorithmic skills.
- Good knowledge in a deep learning framework like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- NLP/ML knowledge – state of the art models (BERT, BART, T5, etc), their complexities, their strengths and weaknesses, etc.
- Experience with language model productization.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage workload priorities.
- Advanced degree in computer science, math, statistics or a related discipline.
