Senior HR Manager, EMEA

Your Role:

As the Senior HR Manager, EMEA you will define and lead the HR strategy for the EMEA region. You will partner with the Global VP of Human Resources and manage operations for the EMEA regions in support of Sinequa’s global HR strategy. The Senior HR Manager, EMEA will be the primary contact (and support) for all EMEA employees and provide advice to senior business leaders. The Senior HR Manager, EMEA is also responsible for fostering a healthy culture of continuous improvement by strengthening training programs, developing healthy employee relations, maximizing employee productivity, and regulatory compliance. The Senior HR Manager, EMEA will support strategic topics such as talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development and compensation for EMEA. This position will report directly to the Global VP of Human Resources.

Your Responsibilities:

HR Development and Operations
  • Oversee Human Resources operations for EMEA, including contract/vendor management and administrative support
  • Lead the EMEA HR strategy in line with the global strategy, focusing on talent acquisition, retention, performance management, L&D and compensation
  • Manage all HR activities along the employee life cycle (from attraction to onboarding and furthermore during their journey in the company)
  • Supervise personal data management, employee record maintenance, data reporting, and ensuring HR systems are up-to-date and accurate
  • Oversee compensation and continuous development and maintenance of our employee benefits, ensuring we remain competitive with our employee value proposition
  • Prepare reports for senior management on HR-related KPIs and trends
Business Partnering
  • Act as a true Business Partner to managers, providing coaching and support on a various range of issues
  • Promote a positive workplace culture that encourages employee engagement, communication, morale, and retention and deliver on key diversity and inclusion initiatives
  • Be the key point of contact for all Works Council related activities and well as government administrations
  • Manage and resolve employee issues and conflicts in a fair and consistent manner
HR Infrastructure & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance regarding local regulation laws, company policies and best practices
  • Develop and enforce EMEA HR policies and procedures that align with legal standards and organizational values
  • Maintain accurate HR records and data, including employee files, attendance, and performance metrics
Talent Management
  • Support career development and succession planning within the organization
  • Coach and challenge managers in the application of HR policies and practices, providing advice and guidance on complex HR issues
  • Identify professional development needs and facilitate employee training programs
Leadership
  • Motivate and develop EMEA Talent Acquisition by providing guidance and support
  • Must maintain confidentiality and professionalism on the executive level

Your background:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources required
  • 7+ years minimum of experience in a in an international HR role with operational experience
  • Fluent in English and French (both oral and written)
  • Knowledge of the French Social Law
  • HR Systems knowledge
  • Understanding of tech industry challenges

  • Customer-focused with a proven track-record in supporting Managers
  • Experience working in international and multicultural environments
  • Highly organized and proficient at managing multiple projects at the same time
  • Strong communication skills – written and oral (French, English, + ideally German)
  • Results and metrics-driven to draw insights from complex HR data
  • Creative and innovative personality, to think outside the box

BONUS SKILLS:

  • Experience with Lucca HRIS
  • Another European Language is a plus
  • Knowledge of UK & German Employment Law
  • Professional English and French required, other European language is an asset
